Hello! I'm Elles Lanfer, the designer & founder of Misusu Patterns! We are a pattern shop featuring modern & fun PDF sewing patterns for babies & toddlers with a strong focus on knit fabrics.
Whether you’re new to the sewing scene or already an advanced superhero DIY-er, with our patterns we hope to inspire you to either start sewing or create something special and unique for the little ones in your life. All our patterns are drafted with a contemporary fit and are accompanied with clearly illustrated instructions that are easy to follow.
Misusu originally started as my personal blog. As a teenager I got infected with the DIY-bug, when I learned to draft patterns & sew clothes from my mother. I studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Art in The Netherlands and have worked as a kids wear designer ever since.
Early 2014 I reconnected with my DIY roots, when I became a mother and started to share free kids wear patterns on my blog. The clothes I made for my little boy - comfortable but with a little twist - resonated with my friends, family, people on the street and ultimately led to the start of Misusu Patterns.
