Meet our new party favorite - the Isa Sweater! The sewn in bows, give this crew style sweater a dressed up yet comfortable look, worthy of a great Christmas (or any other!) party! And can you dream up all the possible combinations? Sequined bows? Yes, please! Glitter, flowers, plaid, tonal, colorful…..anything will do! This bow sweater pattern gives you the option to choose between “normal” sleeves or puff sleeves and to add a (optional) shoulder closure.

Techniques involved include sewing with knits, straight & curved seams, using basting threads (only for the puff sleeves), working with small pattern pieces, attaching ribbing and optionally, adding a shoulder closure and snap buttons.

Intermediate Skill level intermediate

Main body and sleeves. Light to medium weight sweater knits, interlock or french terry with 25% stretch (lycra or elastane).
0.5 meter/yard for sizes 62 - 80 | 0-3M - 9-12M
0,75 meter/yard for sizes 86 - 104 | 12-18M - 3-4Y
1 meter/yard for sizes 110 - 116 | 4-5Y - 5-6Y

Waistband, neckband, cuffs. Rib knit fabric or medium weight cotton/elastane blend jersey with at least 25% stretch.
0,25 meter/yard rib knit for all sizes
0,33 meter/yard medium jersey for all sizes

Bows. Anything works, woven or knits.

Inside placket (optional). Light to medium weight jersey knit.
15 cm x 30 cm | 6” x 12”

Fusible interfacing for knits (only for shoulder closure)

Ballpoint sewing needle
Fabric marker
2-3 snap buttons

Sewing machine / Serger. When using a sewing machine, use a knit stitch or small zigzag stitch in place of the serged seam. Finish the seams with a big zigzag stitch.
